Самая Прогрессивная Газета решила порадовать своих читателей благой вестью из истерзанной войной Газы. Оказывается, там не только разрушенные дома и сгоревшие автомобили, а ещё и прекрасные люди, добывающие и преумножающие историю этой древнейшей цивилизации прямо из-под ног. Западные археологи будут поражены сокровищами, таящимися под развалинами и пожарищами:

❝Our Western perception does not imagine the fabulous archeological treasures that lie hidden behind this daily routine of death and destruction! Now the Gazans can at last discover a significant selection of their cultural heritage.❞

Древние газы, с незапамятных времен жившие в этих местах, повидали многих иноземных захватчиков, но пережили их всех и пронесли через тысячелетия свою любовь к узенькой полоске суши:

“It’s such an important place for archaeology,” he added. “It’s a melting pot of cultures, and it was located at a crossroads of important civilizations like Syrian and Egyptian.” He said Gaza was once an intersection of many cultures and currencies. “At this time Gaza had its own seaport to the whole world and was connected to Cyprus and Afghanistan”❞

Короче, от Иберийского полуострова до Афганистана, - все культуры обогатили древних газов хоть чем-нибудь, хоть медалькой, хоть значком (с). Потомки древних газов рассчитывают на то, что эти добрые традиции будут возрождены.

И только один народ никаких следов там не оставил, потому что никогда там не ступала его нога (а точнее, копыто).
