How to solve intractable problems?
Very simple:The new Hamas government's powers were clipped further on Thursday when the Palestine Liberation Organization ordered the militant group to coordinate with the office of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas before making major diplomatic pronouncements.
The PLO, which Abbas heads, is in charge of all Palestinian foreign affairs. According to a decision Thursday by the PLO's main decision-making body, the Hamas-led Foreign Ministry must report to Abbas' office before making policy statements to world leaders.

From now on any statement can be made and no need to apoloigize, retract or whatever. Hamas will say that its goal is, as before, complete annihilation of Israel, yet all enlightened countries of Europe and America from now on can
dismiss these statements on the grounds that they were made by a
non-authorized body and continue
business as usual with them.
